Ways To Volunteer

Community Kitchen

The Community Kitchen is supported by generous volunteers who prepare (off-site) a meal for 20 to 25 people. Volunteers are welcome to serve their meal at the Community Kitchen to our shelter clients and neighbors in need. Drop-off is still available for those who prefer that option.

Please read our updated Community Kitchen Guidelines. If you would like to join our volunteer team, please fill out our application by clicking on the red button below.

Thank you for your support!

Food Pantry

Homes with Hope receives ongoing donations of non-perishables for our Food Pantry. We also welcome perishable items including milk, cheese, butter, eggs and any personal hygiene or household items.

Volunteer opportunities are available to help us maintain the Food Pantry by sorting donations, stocking shelves, and packing grocery bags of food that we distribute to those in need in our community.

ASAP Tutor

Volunteer at Home with Hope's After School Academic Program. Provide academic support and enrichment activities to develop the skills school-aged children need to be successful at school and in their personal lives. ASAP meets during the school year from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, Monday through Thursday and volunteers commit to a regular schedule of one afternoon per week.

At this time ASAP has a full roster of volunteers. Please check back periodically for future opportunities.

Through weekly one-on-one meetings, help support one of our clients or other women or men who are struggling to create stable and self-sufficient lives.

Inspire those around you to get involved with Homes with Hope by organizing a group of friends from your congregation, your community, or your workplace. Together, we can make a lasting impact!

Food Drive or HYGIENE collection

Help us help those in need by organizing a food drive or hygiene collection to support our clients and neighbors in need.
