Thanks for scanning our van!
About Homes with Hope
Since 1984, Homes with Hope has provided the essentials and the path forward for neighbors in need. Today we offer emergency shelter for men and women, supportive housing for individuals and families, rapid re-housing and diversion services, a community kitchen, a food pantry, youth development, and mentoring—so people can move from crisis to stability and independence.
The Gillespie Center Food Pantry
Homes with Hope provides food services to our resident clients, those at risk of homelessness, and those in need in the community.
Open: Mon, Tue, Fri 1:30–4:30 pm • Thu 1:30–6:00 pm
Who it’s for:
What we stock: Mostly non-perishables, with fresh items available periodically.
Donations: Non-perishable food accepted during pantry hours.
Holidays: Pantry closed on holidays.
Meet the Van
In September 2025, we purchased a dedicated van to improve food rescue and deliveries.
Capacity: Up to 4,000 lbs per trip
Routes: Local grocery partners and CT Foodshare pickups
Why it matters: Fewer trips, more reliable deliveries, and better inventory for our pantry guests, especially during high-demand weeks.
