Update: COVID-19

COVID-19: September 2020 Update

Homes with Hope has followed the recommendations of local and state officials for best practices at our facilities, in accordance with CDC guidelines for health and safety. As we reopen our emergency shelters we continue to focus on the unpredictable nature of this pandemic. Due to COVID-19’s significant impact on the homeless population, our unwavering dedication to serve these individuals and families is more essential than it has ever been. Please consider helping those most vulnerable in our community by clicking here and making a donation.

Gillespie Center, Hoskins Place and Project Return: Our residents were safely sheltered at a local hotel with 24/7 onsite staffing. We continued to provide meals and case management services to help our clients secure permanent housing. We have made the necessary renovations to reopen the Gillespie Center and Hoskins Place with reduced capacity to allow for necessary social distancing measures.

Our Community Kitchen Volunteer Program is once again accepting prepared meals, however, the Gillespie Center & Hoskins Place building remains closed to the public. For your safety, drop-off of meals is contactless. Please wear a mask when entering the Gillespie Center Courtyard and leave your prepared lunch or dinner on the designated table.
